Leo Szabo had the concept — a coffee and bistro hybrid with a specific point of view — and a venue. He did not yet have a brand system, a menu hierarchy, or any web presence. He wanted the visual identity and launch site both from the same pair of hands, so the brand didn't arrive piecewise from three disconnected vendors.
Approach
One intensive concept round in week one — typography, palette, logo mark, menu typography. Second round refined based on Leo's feedback (one direction rejected, one strengthened). Site built on the brand system in weeks 3-5 so the rollout was cohesive. Launch-ready in week 6.
Outcome
Complete brand system delivered (logo, type, palette, print templates, menu design). Launch web presence live in time for opening.
